Problem z tymcytatem to to, że próbuje ładnymi słowami wyznaczyć granicę między zemstą, a karą podczas gdy w wykonaniu Punishera taka nie istnieje. Kara dla samej kary nadal - tak samo jak zemsta - jest czysto kapryśną, emocjonalną reakcją. Punishment jest spoko, ale punishment for punishment sake to taki sam kaprys jak zemsta. Z przestępczoscią/"złem" można po prostu walczyć bez bawienia się w righteous dispenser of justice.

Ta scena to w sumie ładne podsumowanie scenariusza Man of Steel. Czyli fajne ogólne pomysły i motywy, ale sposób w jaki scenariusz do nich dochodzi i je przedstawia jest dość leniwy, ignorując logikę i zrzucając wiele na zawieszenie niewiary czy inny rule of cool.
