Po latach zabawy w prognozowanie oscarów ostatnimi czasy interesuje się tematem już po prostu bliżej ogłaszania nominacji, jak i następnie samej gali.

W tym roku stawka prezentuje się ciekawie, ponieważ z oczywistych względów swoją obecność mocniej zaznaczyło kino niezależne, a do głosu coraz bardziej dochodzą platformy streamingowe, spychając wytwórnie na bok. Dlatego i tym razem nie odmówię sobie wrzucenia moich typów. Miejsca na niespodzianki nie brakuje. Nie przypominam sobie na przykład, kiedy ostatnim razem mieliśmy tak rozchwianą kategorię aktorską, jak Aktorka Drugoplanowa w tym roku; musiałbym cofnąć się spokojnie o ponad dekadę, bo widzę 10 wiarygodnych kandydatek. Na pierwszym planie u kobiet trudno z kolei mówić o faworytce i może wydarzyć się wszystko, choć na ten moment wierzę w Mulligan.

Jak zawsze przypominam, że to nie tyle moje wymarzone nominacje, co po prostu według mnie najbardziej prawdopodobne. Co oczywiście miejscami się pokrywa. Kolejność nieprzypadkowa. Pod "progiem" każdej kategorii podaję najlepszą alternatywę. Moje przewidywania:
